To arrive to Turistična kmetija Žigon from Trieste you can cross the border into Slovenia at Fernetti, then follow the superhighway to Ljubljana to the Unec exit. Here the road leads to Planina, where one takes the old road to Ljubljana, turning right. In five minutes you are in Grčarevec.

If you are coming from Ljubljana take the superhighway to the Logatec exit. Drive through the first traffic circle (take the second exit - 12 o'clock). At the second traffic circle take the third exit (9 o'clock) and continue through Logatec and to the end of Kalce village. Turn left onto the road to Postojna. In 3 km you are in Grčarevec.
